In 2008, MDS Nordion supported the growth of TheraSphere®, its innovative liver cancer treatment, with the establishment of 18 new treatment centres across North America, bringing the total to more than 70 sites, while expanding its treatment centres in Belgium and Germany.
In 2008, MDS Nordion celebrated a 30-year partnership with TRIUMF, a world-class physics laboratory located on the campus of the University of British Columbia.
