Strong, effective corporate governance and the Company's review of its overall approach and commitment to corporate governance has been and remains a key priority for MDS, as indicated in the Annual Report and Proxy Circular. The Board and senior management believe that the Company's current governance practices are appropriate and fundamental to the overall success of the Company, and comply in all material respects with all applicable Canadian and U.S. regulatory requirements, the Guidelines of the Ontario Securities Commission and the Rules of the New York Stock Exchange which are currently in force.
